Manuel's S13 has been down for some time for an engine rebuild, this KA suffered some major compression and overheating issues to the point once the motor was apart it would free-spin by simply turning the crank! As of this month it is finally back together with a nearly full refresh and is running better than ever, one major roadblock passed making the path towards further progress. I will add Manuel and Julian to the Oasis section in the near future.

These cars have a funny way of bringing people together. In this photo alone there are THREE S13's, two hatches, one coupe, and there's a 4th and 5th off camera that will be addressed sometime in the coming months. There's an inherent incentive to help others push foward with these projects. Branson has been such a major help to not only myself but to everyone else on the team, and I'd like to reciprocate this. The silver hatch within the shop is another friend who recently picked up this one as his first project car, although it was really straight, it needed a lot of work to be really put together. As we near the end of the first phase of that car, its become increasingly rewarding to see it function properly and be finally enjoyed after years of neglect.

So whats the plan for this year? Initially it'll be time to work on the other projects while we save to get back to the nissans. This includes working on both the Falcon and Datsun. There's some maintinence I've been meaning to do on the Datsun for some time now and logically it would be best to knock this out before finalizing anything with the CA swap. Speaking of that CA, I do have a couple parts for it but there will be a few months between now and the next update on that build.
